US State of Indiana Rolls Out Biometric Enrollment Services

Idemia Identity and Security of North America has won a six-year contract with one-year extension options for biometric enrollment services with the US State of Indiana.

Idemia’s digital identity solutions enable trusted interactions with the US government entities.

The contract includes fingerprint biometric data capturing and the backend system to process the prints and support. Idemia will provide the technology and support to Indiana State Police and other agencies. Idemia has provided biometrics enrollment services to more than 370 Indiana state and county agencies since it began a relationship with the state in 2009.

The appointment registration system, livescan solution, and backend biometric solution provided by Idemia will all be upgraded under the new contract.
